At RIVFLY, we stand behind the quality of our gear. We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. That's why we offer a generous 45-day return policy. You have 45 days after receiving your item to request a return.

Eligibility for a Return

To be eligible for a return, your item must meet the following conditions:

  • It must be in the same condition that you received it: unworn, with original tags, and in its original packaging.
  • For gear like rods, reels, and lines: You are welcome to assemble and "lawn-cast" them to get a feel for the action. However, items that have been used in water, show signs of outdoor wear, dirt, or have been damaged during use are not eligible for return.
  • You’ll need the receipt or proof of purchase.

How to Start a Return

  1. To initiate a return, simply contact us at info@rivfly.com.
  2. If your return is accepted, we will provide you with a return shipping label and detailed instructions. Please note that the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
  3. Please do not send items back to us without first requesting a return, as they will not be accepted.

Damages and Issues

Please inspect your order as soon as you receive it. If the item is defective, damaged, or if you received the wrong item, contact us immediately. This allows us to evaluate the issue and make it right for you.

Exceptions / Non-Returnable Items

The following items cannot be returned:

  • Used Leaders, Tippets, and Flies.
  • Custom products (such as special orders or personalized items).
  • Final sale items.
  • Gift cards.

Exchanges

The fastest way to get the gear you want is to return the item you have. Once your return is accepted, simply make a separate purchase for the new item.

Refunds

Once we’ve received and inspected your return, we will notify you of the approval status. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded to your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember, it can take some additional time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund.

European Union 14-Day Cooling-Off Period

If your merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days for any reason, without justification. The eligibility requirements and return shipping cost policy remain the same as stated above.
